Castle Mac Service was created in 2007 as a spinoff of Castle Computers, Inc. Mark Bogossian, former CEO, President and Majority Owner of Castle Computers, Inc. closed Castle's retail store in May 2007 after doing business as a Macintosh Sales and Service Center since 1981. With over 27 years of hands-on experience, we maintained our Apple Service certifications and continue to offer Macintosh and PC/Windows Service and Support! Castle Mac Service reflects our direct and sole focus on personalized technical services, with Castle background and experience!

Castle Mac Service operates from our repair shop 24 Wade Road in Latham, close to our former retail store. We maintain 9am-5pm business hours and although we welcome walk-ins, it's a good idea to schedule an appointment if you have specific needs.

Castle Mac Service is a fully Authorized Apple Service Provider with Certified Macintosh Technicians.  We are the Capital District's only locally owned Apple Authorized Service Provider. and one of the oldest in the US!  We provide AppleCare Service, Warranty and Non Warranty services on all Apple systems regardless of where they were purchased. We offer certified Apple parts and perform Macintosh service to the high standards set forth by Apple's AASP Service Program. We also provide out of warranty services such as upgrades, parts replacement and technical support.

Mark Bogossian, Castle Mac Service Owner, Apple Certified Macintosh Technician and Trainer.  A former educator and employer, as President and CEO of Castle Computers, Inc., Mark Bogossian has trained thousands of home and business Macintosh users since 1983. Mark combines expertise, patience and hands on techniques to help you understand your computer- whether you're a home user or high end business user.

Linda Gallant, General Manager and Technician: Linda manages the daily operations and performs many of the technical repairs on notebooks and iMacs. She brings a unique combination of technical expertise and insight to be the "I can fix anything" technician that every shop needs!

Apple Certified Macintosh Technician



Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) certification verifies the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and repair of both desktop and portable Macintosh systems, such as iMac MacBook Pro. ACMT certification exams emphasize identifying and resolving common OS X problems, and using Apple Service and Support products and practices to effectively repair Apple hardware.
